Current Openings
Residential Support Professional
Location: Ontario, OR
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to residents with I/DD
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care
- Implement Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP)
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with I/DD preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Our Hiring Process
The Vineyard Family Inc. team is committed to improving the lives of our residents through innovative and compassionate care, advocacy, and support. Each member of our staff undergoes an extensive hiring process that includes:
- Face to face interview
- Comprehensive criminal background checks
- Driving record checks
- Class 1 fingerprint clearance
Once hired, all team members are equipped with training, orientation, and support to help them feel confident in their roles and in assisting with a variety of care needs. Each team member also undergoes Oregon state-developed training, which includes:
- CPR and first aid
- Client rights review and instruction
- Behavior management
- Physical aggression management
- Medication administration
- Habilitation goals
Our team members also serve as advocates for the individuals they assist and are trained to recognize possible signs of illness, abuse, or neglect. Each team member is supervised and evaluated regularly to ensure they consistently provide high-quality care.
